MFÖ’s foundations were laid when Mazhar Alanson and Fuat Güner first met 41 years ago in 1966. The couple issued an album named “Türküz Türkü Çağırırız” in 1971.
In
1971 Özkan Uğur joined the couple and MFÖ’s history began. MFÖ represented
Turkey in Eurovision song contest in years 1985 and 1988 with “ Diday Diday Day”
and “ Sufi”. The group issued no albums between 1995 and 2006 but continued with
concerts... They have issued the “AGU” album after an 11 years break. Apart from
music and stage activities, members of the group have appeared separately in TV
and cinema films as well as tv advertisements. While Mazhar Alanson and Fuat
Güner proceeded as actors, Özkan Uğur claimed success in TV shows.
