FERHAT GÖÇER

He has graduated from both Istanbul University Medical School and Government Conservatuary Singing Department. He has worked in Government Opera and Ballet for 2 years until he was assigned to Şanlıurfa as a doctor. When he returned to Istanbul, started working in Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital as a general surgeon.

He performs different sorts of music like World Opera Repertoire, Napolitans, Chansons, Rembetikos, Traditional Turkish Music and Folk Music with Metropol Symphony Orchestra on many concerts. His first album named “Ferhat Göçer” which is at the top of the music lists was released in last October.

He realized a new project named “Anatolia Arias” aiming to combine Anatolia melodies with universal symphonic world music to produce a different style of music. From this point of view, first he started to give concerts all around Turkey (from Istanbul to Diyarbakır, Gaziantep to İzmir and Ankara) before presenting his music to the world.

He would like to be the leader in introducing Turkish Music to the world. He has shared the stage with Omer Faruk Tekbilek, Gino Castelli and Alessandro Safina. “Beyaz Perde Ezgileri” is his another project that he aims to record the sound for unforgotten movie songs.
