Gökmen Noyan & Daisies

He was born in Famagusta, Cyprus. He studied in Ankara State School of Music from 1963 to 1970, and graduated with high honours. He worked at Istanbul State Opera and Ballet House Orchestra between 1979 to 1982.

Since 1974 he has taught at the Istanbul Mimar Sinan University, State School of Music. He does concerts in many cities in Turkey with accompaniment by the Istanbul Symphony, Izmir Symphony, Dutch Chapel Orchestra and many Chamber Orchestra.

He worked in Istanbul Mimar Sinan University, State School of Music as a permanent professor in 1986.

He worked in Istanbul Radio Light Music and Jazz section as a lead Trumpeter from 1982 to 1989. He started with the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra in 1994 as a trumpeter and he formed the “Ephesus Brass” quintet same year and he performed in successful concerts with his friends also in Famagusta Festival.

He has performed in United States with the President’s Symphony Orchestra and also with Izmir Symphony Orchestra in Germany, South Korea, Japan and Italy.

He formed “Gokmen NOYAN & DAISIES” Ensemble this year.
